EU web domain (.eu) post Brexit transition

From 1 January 2021, UK registrants with a UK address (both individuals and organisations) will not be eligible to hold a .eu domain. Existing .eu domains registered to a UK address will be withdrawn. If you have a projects and other activity currently presented through a .eu domain, you should read the latest UK Government guidance and take action as necessary.

IT Services, who manage domain registrations on behalf of the University, can advise on the registration of alternative domain names or, where applicable, on the transfer of a .eu domain to an EU partner. They can be contacted by using the email address domains@it.ox.ac.uk.
